About Me

Minneapolis, Minnesota
Well I've set 3 goals for myself this year Madison 1/2 Marathon May 30th, RAGBRAI the last week in July, and the Twin Cities Marathon October 3rd. I was told that blogging training progress helps with motivation. This should be a very difficult but fun and rewarding year.

Got in a nice 4.25 tonight, tomorrow another run like then, then Thursday some eliptical work so my legs will be fresh for Saturday. I'm getting pretty excited picking up my race number and first race tee tomorrow after my run. :-) I know it's just a "fun run" but I am really anxious to start competing again, I realize I'm probably still 2-3 months away from looking good doing it, but it'll be fun. Tomorrow I'm running a teller window one of my leads Danielle met a challenge I set for her so I'm working her shift. I'm been talking a lot of shit(I know like always) so I have to do well or I'm gonna get it from my team. Wish it was Friday so I could start my vacation, but tomorrow is a day closer.

  1. Good luck at your race! I was suprised to see this as your new hobby - so much has changed. Running is such a great get away. What I wouldn't give to be able to run right now.

  2. It is a wonderful way to get mentally right after a long day, and just push yourself. I had to do something I got up to over 230 and my doctor was amazed at the the shape i was in. So I hit the gym, down to 185(170 goal weight) and feeling great. Thanks for the support, you'll be running soon again. Congrats to you and Nick btw.
